How to do Keyword Research

Before doing keyword research or also known as keyword analysis, I will explain first the importance of keyword research. Keyword research will help you find the best keyword that is relevant to your client’s website. The best keyword means that it should also be a high traffic keyword. Highly traffic because this would ensure your client’s site would gain traffic after optimizing that keyword.
Back to the main topic How to do Keyword Research. The first thing to do is to check the client’s site or ask for the site description. The site description would help you to find a good keyword and use this keyword to get a relevant keyword using keyword tracker tool or google AdWords tool.
So this post would teach you two techniques in doing keyword research which is using a keyword tracker and using the Google Adwords tool.
What if your client site sells baseball bats, so go to http://freekeywords.wordtracker.com/ and put baseball bats and check keywords that have the most number of searches per day.

As you can see, baseball bats and baseball bat are the keywords that are related to baseball bat having the most number of searches per day. SO easy right? hahaha but most people don't know how to do it. The next thing to do is to check it using Google Adwords tool. Go to this site https://adwords.google.com/select/KeywordToolExternal?forceLegacy=true and enter the baseball bat.

As you can see you will see better results using Google AdWords tool but the results are almost the same. You will see that baseball bats have the most number of searches per day.
To finalize, use a baseball bat and baseball bats as the final keywords in promoting your client’s baseball site! Easy Right? Yeah it's easy!
